Well, after Disney announced that he will be making 20k movie directed by David Fincher (Alien 3, Se7en, Fight Club) I was really surprised.
Hardcore director and Disney, it all looks like it is going to be turned into another kiddie-friendly flick with some big names(not that I am against it). And this would be just another movie news if it were not for Ridley and Tony Scott that announced that they will be making their own version of 20k movie. Just plain weird. And to make things weirder the second movie will be directed by Timur Bekmambetov(Wanted). Yep, they are trying to make the next Clash of The Titans or Avatar… I am glad to see interest in this novel, and I hope that both movies will be good.
