Vicky Cristina Barcelona [2008]

Woody Allen, I guess he lived up to his first name onvicky_cristina_barcelona1 the set what with Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall, and perhaps Javier Bardem (i do not know him that well…). Again classic hot vacation on a paradise place, anything could happen story. This time the play is set in Barcelona, Spain, and all the women fall for a local cool painter. I really hate these guys, oooo I’m an artist, I paint pictures, I’m passionate, my love is strong and my dick is long. Get a job, you lazy bastard! And where does he find money, I guess he paints it… O, and yes Penélope Cruz gets an Oscar for twenty minutes yelling and kissing, just wrong. Anywhoo, movie isn`t so bad, pretty watchable, so it gets a six. Try to enjoy.

Walled In [2009]

Mischa Barton plays a lead role in this average horror flick,walled_in_2009 intended for wide masses that have a hots for Mischa. She`s pretty skinny for a construction worker, but she actually pulled it off. Some crazy architect makes some weird building and Mischa needs to blow it up. I can think of a few things she could blow and building Is not one of them, although I am not that familiar with her abilities. Anyway, decent flick, do not expect too much and you`ll be just fine. Enjoy.

Director: Gilles Paquet-Brenner

Cast: Mischa Barton, Cameron Bright, Deborah Kara Unger, Noam Jenkins

Signs [2002]

This is an early M. Night Shyamalan movie, with Mel Gibsonsigns as main character, a priest who lost his fate after his wife was killed in a car accident. But that is going to change, when signs, and afterwards aliens start to appear. This movie is really suspense, not all the time, but some sections will keep you on the edge of your seat (or bed, floor, toilet, wherever from you`re watching). Excellent performance from Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix, and as always Mr. M. Night Shyamalan had to give himself some role in the movie ( he`s the Indian gay good-looking guy). If you liked his other movies, you will like this one, enjoy.

Director: M. Night Shyamalan

Cast: Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix, Marion McCorry, M. Night Shyamalan

The Strangers [2008]

Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman are a couple with somestrangers_ver4 relationship issues, when they decide to spend a night in their summer house things go wrong. I got to tell you, first 45 minutes of the movie I felt such anxiety, but after that it kind of disappeared. I`m guessing that happened because first have of the movie looks and feels so real, that’s its really scary, but after that it kind of waters down to the usual clichés. And by the way I was really intrigued by that based on true events thingy, so I did a little googlin` and found that actually story of this movie is actually a blend of three separate true events, mixed together in this movie. Still even if it were totally fictional it’s still pretty scary. Enjoy.

Director: Bryan Bertino

Cast: Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman, Glenn Howerton
