Jackie Chan and ancient wars? At first glance this might seem to be another movie with thousands of archers, fighters, and great battles with amazing special effects, but this is not the case here. This is actually a road trip movie where Jackie plays an elderly soldier who captures enemy general and plans to turn him over for a reward. But as usually a trip to the headquarters will be filled with dangers and funny situations. I especially liked the tricks that Jackie uses to convince the enemy that he is wounded or dead, it is a nice touch from the old master. So if you are looking for a really good flick with this kind of vibe check this one out, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

Fun Stuff: The role of the Little (Young) Soldier was originally written for Jackie Chan, who came up the idea of the story Little Big Soldier 20 years ago. However, it took 20 years to wrap up the script, and now Jackie Chan is casted as the Big (elder) Soldier instead. Lee-Hom Wang takes the role of Little (young) Soldier.
