I really liked this movie, it combined comic style movies, action, comedy and pretty decent amounts of blood and violence. This is pretty odd, since the movie is pretty much teenager-oriented, but is still very original and unique in its conception. Dave Lizewski is classic high school loser who likes comics. One day he comes up with the idea to be a superhero, pretty much the same one that Defendor had. He has no special powers or special training in combat, so he gets ass kicked facing his adversaries. But he will get help from a strange father-daughter fighting team and another superhero Red Mist (in our hearts you will always be McLuvin). They will form a vigilante team bound to kick ass. Great production values, good acting, and good story are all mixed together into an appealing movie. No matter the age, you will find this movie interesting on different levels. Enjoy.
