I usually do not like Steve Martin flicks, but this one is a masterpiece. Directed by Frank Oz it has perfects script and story. Small time director and producer comes across a script that he thinks will be a success. The lack of money prevents him to get the hottest action star in Hollywood Kit Ramsey but that does not prevent him to shoot the movie with him. He will try to shoot this movie with no money and will he succeed it is up to you to find out. When I saw the part where he gets his camera and sound crew I literally could not bread, it was so funny. Along with cheesy name of the flick Chubby Rain everything else seems like a tribute to the B science fiction flicks of the seventies and eighties. Enjoy in this masterpiece.

Fun Stuff: Based on a real incident in 1927. A Russian filmmaker covertly shot footage of the vacationing Mary Pickford, and fashioned an entire film around the footage, creating the illusion that Pickford was actually starring in this Russian film.
