When two inmates escape from prison they will accidentally wind up in a little town called Happy, Texas.
There they will be accidentally mistaken for a gay couple that is supposed to participate in a town’s Little Miss Fresh Squeezed beauty pageant. I mean from the start this movie sounds funny, two convicts playing a gay couple in a small town, and when you add awesome performances by Steve Zahn and William H. Macy this movie gets really funny. Banking on that plot the situational humor is great with a grand finale that I remember even today. Very entertaining and amusing it is perfect as a Sunday flick, so relax and get ready to laugh. Enjoy…
Director: Mark Illsley
Cast: Steve Zahn, Jeremy Northam, William H. Macy, Ally Walker, M.C. Gainey, Ron Perlman

Fun Stuff: William H. Macy’s character has a discussion on the phone where he complains he cannot read a smudgy fax, and the message should be mailed, not faxed. This is exactly like a conversation his character has in Fargo (1996).
