Praised by many, i did not like that much this movie. It is okay and nothing more and stop comparing it to Hangover, apart from the obvious similarities these movies are nothing alike. First of all, the characters are one
dimensional and pretty simplistic, and I know this is the comedy, but they could have tried harder, secondly the jokes are lame, although there are some that are hilarious (the one-armed man), but the main thing about this movie is that the director failed to deliver the joke punchline properly.
There is a lot of potential in the script, but somehow this movie managed to be quite average. It’s a story about three friends that travel back in time to Winterfest ’86 where they all had the time of their lives. Here there have the opportunity to experiment with their past and future. There are a lot of alcohol and drug references in the movie and it is really strange that almost none of them are funny. Still the movie is entertaining to some degree, and it certainly beats those lame College-Sex-Beer movies that are made in throngs… Enjoy…
