This movie is like a Simon Pegg movie cominghow to lose to America. Based on a book by Toby Young “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People”, the movie follows rise to the fame of a Sidney Young, a small time celebrity journalist. He is asked to come to New York to work for a famous magazine Sharp.

Jokes are good and well constructed, although not that brutal, but I guess they had to water them down a bit for a general public. Everyone did their job well, and as an end result we have a good comedy with a romantic underlining. Script is the best thing in this movie and it shows all the events that are happening behind the curtain. So if you want to relax and laugh a bit, check out this flick, enjoy.

Director: Robert B. Weide

Fun Facts: Toby Young, the man around whom the film is based, was banned from the set as he was reportedly annoying actors and interrupting Robert B. Weide as he tried to direct scenes.
