Directed by famous (and now ultra popular Tim Burton) 
this movie is highly underrated. I guess everyone expecting something more in line of his classic movies, and not this type of parody. So before you check it out, you might wanna check out some of the hype sixties, seventies and even eighties cheesy movies of aliens attacking the Earth because this is spoof of those flicks (and many others). So after detecting the flying saucers in the space around the Earth, government is preparing a welcoming committee for the aliens, hoping to establish a friendly relationship. But as you probably guessed aliens have something else in their mind. In a cast there is not a single unknown actor and you will probably enjoy in their zany performances. One more perk is that you see Sarah Jessica Parker after the alien experiment with some animal(I think that a horse would be more suiting for it, but what to do 
). Colorful characters, great ending(guess what movie is it from) and everything else in between. Enjoy.
