As much as I like Ricky Gervais and his style of comedy I must admit that his directing skills are not that good. He has a good idea on how to make things work but as for the long run goes he tends to lose himself in overshot scenes that will likely bore the watcher. So, imagine a world where are no lies and where everyone tells the truth, always. Of course from this you can derive a thousand jokes and gags and they did so. Mark Bellison is an average Joe loser, nobody likes him, he is not attractive and this pisses him off. The standard English withheld attitude comes to the center of attention in this flick with the collision of it and the lying. Jennifer Garner is a nice addition to the cast of the flick and she really helped to brighten things up. This is one of those it`s funny because it`s true comedies, but with overshooting problem, so I think you will have problems with keeping attention, but give it a shot, it will be worth it.
