If you taught that Guy Ritchie made a very strange version of Sherlock Holmes, then you better think again. 
This little gem was long hidden from the public, but I think it`s about time to check it out. Holmes and Watson are played by two great names Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley and that creates such chemistry between them that they do not have to do anything, just stand and that is interesting enough. As I previously mentioned, this is a very strange take on the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. In this version he is different from the classical perception of him fed to us by almost everyone. There is still a mystery case that needs to be solved(plates used for printing money have been stolen), but the rest is pretty funny, beginning with that Sherlock is an alcoholic, and Dr. Watson is the mastermind behind him. Fun Stuff: The opening sequence of the movie is inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original Sherlock Holmes story “The Red-Headed League.” In the story, Sherlock Holmes captures John Clay and his accomplice, Archie. John Clay even calls out at one point, “Jump, Archie, and I’ll swing for it!”
