What a great movie. Aberdeen is that type of drama
where there are comical elements, so it is easier to swallow all the hard stuff. Characters and situations are portrayed really realistically, and you have a feeling that it is all real and happening right now. Kaisa is a successful lawyer with a drug problem, she is asked by her dying mother to go to Norway to get her alcoholic father to Aberdeen.
This will turn into a strange journey both for Kaisa and Tomas. The movie possesses that road trip vibe with very serious issues presented in a masterful way, so it is very easy to watch. And Stellan Skarsgård performance is just amazing, he captured the essence of his character, and as a bonus treat you have beautiful Lena Headey (300). One of those Sunday afternoon movies, enjoy in this masterpiece.
