Very strange flick with a lot of big names. I was wandering how did I not notice it back then, but after I saw it, it was obvious.
Although the script was good, the acting was mediocre, and Alec was definitely not the man for this type of character. His attempt to be a director was pretty lame, although we will never know a full story with this movie. It was shelved for several years and then finally released in 2004, but after being seriously reedited by Bob Yari Productions . After this Alec did not want to be mentioned as a director or producer, since he felt that the movie was severely crippled.
A writer, on bad luck streak is offered a deal with the devil to make him successful. He takes it, and later on realizes that, well you`ll have to see the movie to find out what happens. I think that lack money prevented this movie to achieve its true value, but what can you do. Even with this product it is worth watching, although some people might find it below average, I suggest to try to find how it relates to your life and choices you make. Enjoy.
