This French horror flick featuring Sophie Marceau is highly underrated. Although it is not grand it certainly
deserves a better rating. After uncovering some strange artifacts in Egypt (where else would they find an ancient demon Belphegor), that were later on brought to Louvre, an apparition starts to haunt the place. It is up to the famous Egyptologist and a detective to get to the bottom of this. With very good special effects and a nice plot this movie is very interesting and presents a French view on a classic demon movies of America. Still it lacks the expected sensuality and that weird vibe that I was hoping for. Enjoy…
