Coming from the director of Rec, this movie is a thrill ride that has its almost boring parts and also awesome,thrilling parts. I do not know if this was the intention of the director, to make such a contrast between different elements to make the scary ones even more scarier or he simply did not know what to do with the rest of the movie. This mixture of European and American style of storytelling with some Japanese influences created a pretty strange vibe, but defined worth watching.

A new nurse, with a baggage from her past, arrives into a rundown hospital. Although it should have been closed, the hospital is still open due to the lack of beds in other institutions. 8 children are present and a small staff, that are waiting to be transfered. Rumors of strange things happening are dismissed as paranoid, but when they start to happen again, the new nurse decides it is time to take action.Hands down, this movie has one of the scariest ghosts I have ever seen, it is really sick, disturbing and yet so great. Effects are good, and production values are high, hiring Calista Flockhart for the main role and beautiful Elena Anaya (holy fuck she is hot!) as a supporting role cast managed to be OK, although I must say that the children in this movie really outdone the grownups. Enjoy in this great movie.
