Oh boy, here`s the best exorcism movie
since the original Exorcist, if not even all time champion, because it`s based on true events. And when I say based, I do not mean that they fabricated most of the movie like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Stranger, I mean that literally everything you see did happen in real life. These unfortunate events took place in Germany when a young girl by the name of Anneliese Michel got possessed by evil spirits.
If you Google it up you can find actual recording of her exorcism, and it`s really scary. Now, beck to the movie, which is perfection in every way, sound, acting, effects, and camera, just everything is done great. It losses some momentum after the barn scene but it`s still a masterpiece. Oh, I almost forgot, turn up the volume for this one. We are the ones who dwell within…

Fun Facts: Since this film’s release, a persistent urban legend has sprung up amongst students at the University of Minnesota. According to the legend, Pioneer Hall, an allegedly haunted dormitory, was where Emily Rose was first “possessed,” as seen in the film. However, as Emily Rose is a fictional version of Anneliese Michel, a German woman who never attended the U of M, this legend is obviously false.
