If I see another movie with a bunch of teenagers lost in a middle of nowhere, getting killed by a killer with a mask I`m going to puke.
Although there is a lot of nudity and mild gore in this flick it is still a commercial milking slasher movie without anything new. The only reason that I saw it is because I read that someone compared it to Martyrs and how it`s great and bla bla. Story is somewhat original, with the crazy filmmaker immersing himself in his movie, like Midnight Movie, but that idea seemed liked something very unprocessed.
So, a three friends decide to track down an obscure filmmaker Concannon to make a documentary about his movie The Hills Run Red. Of course, he lives in a middle of nowhere, in some back woods, in a remote cabin(sound familiar). As I said, because of the nudity and the whole “I have seen this movie somewhere already” vibe it is entertaining to watch. So if you want to relax with some horror flick check this one out, enjoy.
