Here we have another monster flick that was pretty good in its decade. Although some of the effects may seem a bit outdated at this time, they are still very pleasant to the eye and they look pretty decent in comparison with some of the recent movie blunders. Although it is based on a book, the story is strangle very usual for a monster flick, some explorer in some exotic land finds something that he should not have found. And to make things worse he sends it to the  Chicago’s Natural History Museum. This is where the most of the movie will take place and this is pretty original, and I liked the mayhem in museum vibe. Of course we have our police detective and hot scients, but fortunately this relationship is not that much developed. Some pretty intense scenes and nice action in this flick, enjoy…
