When you have to make a movie about a subject so widely recognized it is very difficult to please everyone. Same goes for the Dracula. And I think that Francis Ford Coppolas Dracula (1992) and this movie are the prime examples
of how a movie of such magnitude should be done. First of all, the cast was great, as soon as I saw Anthony Hopkins on the list I knew that is going to be good, and Benicio Del Toro was a great choice too. Secondly the cinematography and the sets are just perfect, you can take almost any scene from the movie and turn it into a desktop background. Thirdly the effects were amazing, especially the transformation into the Wolfman. And at the end, the story is the weakest link, but what can you do with it? If you stray too much from the original story this will not be the Wolfman, and I believe that they successfully avoided romance and too big too fail traps. You all know the story so kick back and relax in this great movie.
