I expected more from this movie,
given its origin and the director it turned out to be quite confusing and unfinished. But underneath all the problems it is worth watching. There are some borrowed elements from Alien and other movies regarding space stations, but the blend of these motives is pretty decent. Set in the future on a prisoner space stations, a scientist are trying out new ways to improve mankind. Namely, they are conducting experiments on prisoners to get them to behave better. After a new and strange inmate arrives things start to get complicated.
The movie is visually stunning, and there are a lot of cool and magnificent sights, very common to new wave of French directors. Using the lighting and clever use of special effects movie gained that dark vibe. There are a lot of religious and biblical elements in it, and I did not like them, but they are somewhat altered to be acceptable. If you like science fiction and space movies this will be an okay flick for you, especially that there is not many of them worth watching, and if you are not a fan, you might find it a bit boring, still it is quite watchable, enjoy.
