I think that only the latest Screamers movie was something that I hated and is based on stories of Philip K. Dick
(A Scanner Darkly, Impostor, Screamers, Total Recall,Blade Runner). Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise and Max von Sydow, this movie could not fail. Well I guess that big budget and great special effects also helped a little. Showing us our future, this movie may not be called science fiction in future world. Video surveillance, precrime and other stuff are even present today, although not in this extent. John Anderton is head of a Precrime division that arrests people that were supposed to commit certain crimes in near future, based on predictions of three genetically altered humans. Burdened by memories of dead son and failed marriage, job is all he has, but when inspection starts to poke around in efforts to discredit the unit, he will find out something that will put him in great danger. I do not want to bore you with other stuff, just see the movie, it is really good
. Enjoy…
