Another great movie from 1998, and this one to goes to
the Science Fiction category. Cast is perfect, i mean Sharon Stone, Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson and list goes on. After finding something deep in the sea, a science team is formed to investigate the case. They embark on a sub and go to the docking station deep underwater to determine is this the first contact with extraterrestrial beings. Script is perfect, and very intelligent, and i was not expecting less from Michael Crichton.
I just loved the Dustin Hoffman`s character it`s so smart and deductive. Again big budget allowed great special effects and just the hole look of the movie. Underneath all the aliens drama, in this movie you can find a deeper message regarding us as humans. Enjoy in this great movie. And check out The Abyss it`s pretty similar to this one.
