Another Darren Aronofsky masterpiece that redefined science fiction. With three stories that intersect but still are set in different times he really managed to make a work of art, with very strange and  abstract scenes with breathtaking beauty. All three stories follow mans quest for eternal love and immortality, a common theme in myths and movies. Visually stunning with experienced actors like Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz flick is a real eye candy. On downside if you are not so much interested in obscure and strange movies you might find it a bit boring, waiting for those awesome scenes, others will enjoy in this instant classic. Enjoy.

Fun Stuff: Instead of using CGI, Aronofsky chose to do the special effects for the film by using micro-photography of chemical reactions on tiny petri dishes. He has said that CGI would take away from the timelessness of the film and that he wants the film to stand the test of time.
