Directed by Clint Eastwood this thriller about a cat and mouse game between an aging detective and the serial killer is somewhat a beginning of Clint`s transition towards more serious subjects in his movies. After the latest chase with the killer Terry McCaleb has a heart attack and after the successful transplant he is approached by the sister of the donor to try to apprehend her killer to the justice. The movie is much more similar to some TV flick that you see everyday on cable than a major film effort. Although the script is excellent with an unexpected twists, camera work and the length of the scenes still suggest a rather mainstream and generic approach to film making. But this is still an interesting flick and the Clint and the rest of the cast make it even better, enjoy.
