We continue our Undercover Cop movie theme with this little flick from 1999. It resembles Deep Cover in many ways but is still very original. Of course, you already know the plot, a cop goes undercover to infiltrate a drug selling crime gang with its boss known as the God (LL Cool J, his strong interior and exterior really served him well in his role). Jeff Cole will be forced to do things he did not imagine but the end justifies the means. Very dark and violent movie, that will draw you into its world of crime. Colorful characters and great actors guarantee an interesting hour and half of suspense. Enjoy.

Fun Stuff: A soundtrack containing hip hop music was released on August 24, 1999 by Columbia Records. It made it 28 on the Billboard 200 and 8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and featured 50 Cent’s debut single, “How to Rob”.
