Privacy Policy

Rabbit Reviews is built to work the way most small websites did fifteen years ago: no accounts, no comment system, no advertising trackers watching what you click. This page explains, plainly, what little data actually passes through when you visit.

What We Don't Collect

There's no user account system on this site, no comment section, and no newsletter signup capturing your email address. We don't run advertising trackers or pixels, and we don't sell or share personal data — there isn't any collected to sell in the first place.

Basic Server Logs

Like virtually every website, the server hosting Rabbit Reviews keeps a standard access log — IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and a timestamp — for security and to keep the site running reliably. These entries aren't tied to a name, aren't used to build a profile of you, and aren't kept longer than needed for that purpose.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. If that ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new effective date at the top.

Third-Party Content

Two things on this site load in from outside servers: the Google Fonts used for the site's typefaces, and YouTube trailer embeds on review pages. Loading a Google Font connects your browser directly to Google's servers to fetch the font file — that connection is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours. Trailer videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced "nocookie" embed mode, and the actual video player only loads after you click play — simply reading a review never quietly loads a YouTube tracker in the background.

Children's Privacy

Rabbit Reviews isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group.

Your Rights

Because this site doesn't collect personal data through forms, accounts, or logins, there's generally nothing on file to request, correct, or delete. If you believe that's changed, or you have any other privacy question, reach out through the Contact page.

Changes to This Policy

If what this site collects, or how it's used, ever changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will change with it.

Quick Questions

Do you sell my data?

No — and there's none collected to sell in the first place.

Do you use Google Analytics or similar tracking?

No. As of this writing, Rabbit Reviews runs with zero analytics or advertising trackers.

Why does the site load YouTube trailers?

To show a film's official trailer without hosting the video ourselves. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode and only activates when you click play.

Who do I contact about a privacy question?

See the Contact page — every message gets read.
